Acid Black Cherry

Though Janne Da Arc fans had initially been disappointed in January of 2007 as they learned that the band would be taking a break and the members would be working on solo careers, a rush of excitement was felt in May as Janne Da Arc vocalist yasu started to work on his solo project. An official announcement had not been made, but that didn’t stop yasu from performing in secret, and throughout the month May and in the beginning of June, he held various secret lives all across the country.

In June, the official announcement of the start of Acid Black Cherry appeared on the official site of Janne Da Arc. This was not the only announcement, however; the groups first single, SPELL MAGIC, would be released in July.

The highly anticipated single was received very well, and for the recording yasu had been working together with various other well-known artists, such as SUGIZO (S.K.I.N., ex Luna Sea) and SHUSE (ex La’Cryma Christi). Live, he was supported by Chisato (PENICILLIN), YUKI (DUSTAR-3), and various other musicians.

Acid Black Cherry’s popularity increased rapidly, and yasu appeared in various magazines and in a lot of radio shows, sometimes even doing radio appearances twice in a single day.

A second single has been scheduled for release in September and we are curious to see what Acid Black Cherry will bring us in the future!

Janne Da Arc

Janne Da Arc (ジャンヌダルク, Jannu Daruku?) is a Japanese rock band, hailing from Hirakata, Osaka, Japan. The band's name is often seen shortened to either "Janne" (ジャンヌ) or "JDA".

The Band is currently signed on the motorod record label, a subsidiary of avex trax. They have released three indies albums, nine major-label albums (including single collections), 26 singles, and 13 DVDs.

On May 9, 2006, they celebrated their tenth anniversary of their formation, the date marking when the final member, shuji, became an official fixture of the band's lineup. The band was not named after historical figure Joan of Arc, despite their song "Kyuuseishu --Messiah--" being about her; rather, yasu named the band after a character in the manga "Devilman" by Go Nagai. A picture series of the character can be seen on the art for the band's limited edition Janne Da Arc 10th ANNIVERSARY INDIES COMPLETE BOX, released March 15, 2006.

Their sound is self-described as "pop-rock", and vocalist yasu takes many musical cues from his musical idol, MORRIE of the 1980s Japanese rock band DEAD END. However, Janne Da Arc has proven themselves to be very versatile as well as proficient at their chosen instruments, and draws influence from the favorite bands and musical styles of all of their members.

yeah,si eu prefer asiaticii fara lentile de atingere colorate,ochii lor midalati intunecati sau caprui inchis e ceea ce ma atrage cel mai mult la ei +cool hairstyle ..btw love Yasu's hair :love:
