I made this theard in the memory of the FIVE J-Rockers who aren't in our world anymore!I've been really touched by each of them and mostly hide and Jasmine.TI cried a lot for Jasmine's death from last night to today and my psychical condtion.Tomorrow going to a heart check. So here it is ~

Hideto Matsumoto - 13.12.1964 - 02.05.1998

Hideto Matsumoto died on May 2, 1998. After a night out drinking, he was found hanged with a towel tied to a doorknob in his Tokyo apartment. Three fans died in copycat suicides, of the 50,000 people who attended his funeral in Tsukiji Hongan-ji, nearly 60 were hospitalized and about 200 received clinic treatment in first aid tents.Later that month, the single "Pink Spider" was released, entering the Oricon charts at number one. The song would also receive that year's MTV Video Music Award in the category "Japan Viewers Choice".Sales were also strong for the follow up single "Ever Free", while those of a single released previous to his death "Rocket Dive" would also see a substantial increase. American Journalist Neil Strauss commented on the trend saying that: "In just a few weeks, pop culture in Japan had gone from mourning Hide's death to consuming it."

While authorities deemed Matsumoto's death a suicide,several of hide's friends and colleagues stated that they believed it to be an accident, among them X Japan co-founder Yoshiki Hayashi and former X Japan bassist Taiji Sawada. This notion is supported by the fact that no suicide note was left and Sawada theorizes in his autobiography, that at the night of his death, hide may have been practicing a technique to relieve upper back and neck pains which guitarists can suffer from continuous use of a shoulder strap.The technique involved was practiced by the X Japan members during their touring days and required the use of a towel and a door knob or handle. According to Sawada, Matsumoto may have fallen asleep in his intoxicated state, becoming caught and strangling himself.

Kami [ Ukyō Kamimura ] - 01.02.1973 - 21.06.1999

On June 21, 1999, a subarachnoid hemorrhage killed Kami in his sleep at the age of just 26 years old. His body was discovered four days later. Unusually, his funeral was held the same day[citation needed], with only his band members, Mana, Közi and Yu~ki attending, as well as his parents and a few close friends. Gackt, who had just launched his solo career, was on tour at the time and did not hear about the death of his close friend until about a week later. He was reportedly very devastated.

In the months before his death, Kami had taken to composing music, writing two complete songs, 'Unmei no Deai' and 'Mori no naka no tenshi'. These would later be released on the memorial album 'Shinwa'. He also left one incomplete song Bara no Souretsu, released on the Beast of Blood single. Saikai no Chi to Bara, was written by Mana for Kami after his death.

As for the members of Malice Mizer, Gackt wrote two songs in memory of Kami that were both released on his Mars album: "Emu~for my dear~" and "U+K". Közi and Yu~ki dedicated their co-written song "Memento" (2004) to Kami. Mana has also stated that one of the songs in his Moi Dix Mois album, Nocturnal Opera, are dedicated to him.

Kazuki [ex-Raphael] - 07.04.1981 - 31.10.2000

Kazuki the guitarist, lyrics and music writer, leader and co-founder of Raphael has passed away at the young age of 19. He died of a tranquilizer overdose on October 31, 2000. Most fans believe it was not suicide or that he was addicted to drugs, just that he was trying to relax and took to much.

Shaisuke [ex-Baiser, ex-former-Penicillin] Died on 16.06.2001

Shaisuke passed away on July 16, 2001.The cause of death was not released to the public. He had been checked into the hospital some 3 or 4 days prior to this date.

Jasmine Yuu - 08.03.19?? - 09.08.2009

Though Jasmine You had taken time off in order to rest because of poor physical condition, we received a report that early in the morning on August 9th, he died. Because of the extreme abruptness of this news, the members and staff are all dumbfounded and trying hard to accept this it.

As soon as his family has been notified and updated as to the details and we receive their permission, we will further report to all of the fans.

Chiar nu stiu ce sa spun,nu prea mai am cuvinte,am trecut prin multe saptamana aceasta,in afara de Yasmine, inca doua persoane dragi mie au murit,iar altele doua sunt in situație suficient de grava. De aceea pt. mine moarte lui Yasmine a fost mai mult decat un soc, s-au intamplat atatea in atat de putin timp.
Cat despre D-zeu , nu cred in el ,am incetat de mult,as putea scrie pagini intregi depre motivele mele.Dar am sa incerc sa ma abtin sa fac acest lucru pe forum pt. ca instiga la cearta.

Revenind la topic, desi as prefera ca moarte lui Hide sa fi fost o sinucidere, inclin sa cred ca cred ca a fost de fapt doar un accident nefericit,lucru care face moarte lui si mai dureroasa.Dupa parerea mea "suicide is the proof of life".
Nici moarte lui Kami nu o pot accepta , as fi preferat sa se fi intamplat pe scena nu in timp ce dormea
Despre Jasmine prefer sa nu spun nimic acum,totul s-a intamplat prea repede,eu sunt foarte obosita,nu am dormit aproximativ deloc saptamana aceasta,sunt cu moralul la pamant.
Sper ca maine sa gandesc ceva mai limpede si sa pot veni cu o parere decenta.

NU SCRIE hide cu H mare. Nu e corect. Cu h mic, asa scria el. PESTE TOT.
Scuze , sunt obsedata.

Pai ce sa zic eu , nu prea sunt deloc de acord la faza cu hide.Sa se sinucida ? Nu-i de ajuns ca e prins in purgatoriu pentru ca dupa ce a fost incinerat , cenusa lui a fost jumate tinuta la mormantul din Tokyo si jumate a fost aruncata undeva in Santa Monica din L.A.

Sincer chiar as vrea sa vizitez si magazinul si muzeul lui hide.
Din pacat muzeul a fost inchis acum doi ani si durata lui a fost de 5 ani desii întâia data sau gandit sa-l tina doar pentru 2 ani.

Yoshiki a tinut un comment in 2008 cand X-Japan au revenit pe picioare spunand ceva de genu 'I wish we could have started again , with the FIVE of us , to remember hide.'

De Kami ce sa zic.. Am avut o mica cearta pe forum si niste acuzatii mari asupra mea de blasfemie pentru ca vorbeam prea mult de hide si de Kami ,nu. Eu de Kami sincer nu am vorbit pentru ca nu stiam chiar atat de multe.PLUS X-Japan a fost o istorie ,si este , pe langa Malice Mizer. Nu am nimic cu Kami , Kami-sama fereste dar daca nu am stiut , am tacut.

De Shaisuke , eu cred ca moartea lui a fost cam ciudata.Nu stiu de ce imi instiga sa cred ca nu a fost un accident , iar Kazuki era chiar tare dragut desi daca nu m-a insel unul dintre ei era gay.

Oricum ar fi fost , Kamisama sa-i ierte !

Iar Jasmine ce sa mai zic.Pentru el chiar mi se rupe sufletul.

Bun , bun. Pai uite ca aseara am tot stat sa ma gandesc si m-am intors de pe o parte si pe alta si raspunsul tot DA era. Culmea ca iluzionarea aspectului de fan superficial NU O AM daca ai vrut sa faci un apropo la asta.NORMAL ca as fi reactionat la fel si stii de ce am facut comparatia ? Pentru ca cu X-Japan s-a dat startul la Japanese Rock pentru ca pe acea vreme nici macar Luna Sea nu era.Era X , Buck-Tick is inca vreo maxim doua trupe din care CU SIGURANTA nu era Malice Mizer. Acelasi numar de fani ? Pai ce ai zis tu [ca sa-ti fac o comparatie ] suna cam ca .. Madonna are acelasi numar de fani cu Mickel Jackson si asta ca sa-ti zic ... nu prea adevarat si culmea e ca nu ai nici cum sa-mi demonstrezi.Oricum eu nu vreau sa fiu rautacioasa si sa ma apuc sa scriu la infinit dar sa stii ca eu nu am apreciat ca hide a murit eu apreciez muzica lui din cariera solo si cea a lui X-Japan.Am mai vorbit cu persoane de chestia asta si chiar fata in fata mi-au spus cei care sunt pe J-Rock Revolution ca [dupa cum am spus nu apreciem moartea , ci artistul] Kami nu a fost asa mare artist.Desigur ca NU ESTE DAT LA O PARTE pentru ca el numai este si i se cuvine tot respectul desigur , doar ca trebuie sa numai existe acuzatiile astea , rautacioasele comentarii si toate celelte pentru doar nu ne certam pe mortile lor?

Intradevar X japan , Buck-Tick , Ippu-Do ,Yellow Magic Orchestra sunt "parintii" j-rock-ului ,dar si Malice mizer a avut o importanta majora,a ajutat la consolidarea Visual kei-ului.Kami a fost un bun tobosar si trebuie sa-l respectam pt. ce a fost si ce a facut si ca sa o citez pe Lucifer Lucious Violenoue, de la GILLE’ LOVES(formed in 1986)

" Haru mi-a spus astazi pe mess ca mai multi fani au inceput sa ia baloane pe care au scris "I love you, Jasmine You, Rest in Peace" & so on iar apoi au dat drumul baloanelor sa zboare.Si ne-am gandit ca ar fi bine daca am putea sa ne intalnim mai multi fani intr-un oras ca sa putem sa facem chestia asta.Ar fi cel mai bine in bucuresti pentru ca sunt suficient de numeroase persoane, deci am inceput sa imprastiem vestea pe mai multe forumuri, pe blog-uri si pe unde am mai reusit.M-am gandit ca nu multi or sa poata sa vina dar cred ca ar putea macar sa incerce chestia cu balonul in ziua in care ne vom intalni si apoi sa faca asta de fiecare data de 8 martie.

In absolut orice caz, pentru cei interesati, am hotarat ca intalnirea sa fie in Bucuresti, pe data de 17.08.2009.

We regret to inform all fans and affiliates that Daisuke was laid to rest on July 15, 2010.

In respect of the wishes of his family the funeral procession will be carried out with his closest relatives only. We thank you deeply for all your support for Daisuke up to now. Our utmost and heartfelt condolences go out to everyone.

Fifteen deaths - Quite incredible, but really blue.

- Yutaka Ozaki -

November 29th, 1965 - April 25th, 1992

Yutaka Ozaki died on April 25, 1992, after having been found half-naked in a Tokyo alleyway. The cause of death was reported as pulmonary edema but many theories have arisen as to the actual cause of death, the most popular being homicide. He left behind a wife, Shigemi, and a son, Hiro.

- The Piass (Chihiro, Yoshio, Hiroshi) -

Chihiro & Hiroshi ( death: October 25th, 1995)
Yoshio ( date unknown - 1997)

Everything was going well for the young band until the October 25, 1995, which marked the end of band activities for a brief time. The members Chihiro and Hiroshi died after falling from a twenty meter high bridge during a PV shoot that day. Their deaths became a mystery with many different versions. Some fans like to believe that it was a suicide pact, mostly because of the fact that the two were tied together when they fell. However, it was most likely just an accident because of a silly stunt they had wanted to perform for the PV. Although the band was probably on hiatus at the time in 1996, Anarchist Records still released another two songs by THE PIASS.

In the year 1997, a second tragedy happened: Yoshio committed suicide, leaving Takayuki as the sole living member. The reasons are unknown, but this left a lot room for different speculations - especially among fans. Many fans like to believe that Yoshio had died during the making of a PV, which strengthened the idea of a suicide pact among fans.

Kazuki (ex-Raphael)

Kazuki Watanabe ( April 7th, 1981 - October 31st, 2000)

The cause of death was reported as a sedative surdose, according to the Shibuya Police in Tokyo.

Shaisuke (ex-Penicillin)

Shaisuke died on July 16, 2001. The cause of death was not released to the public. He had been checked into the hospital some 3 or 4 days prior to this date.

Tatsuya (ex-Blam Honey)

Tatsuya died of acute leukemia in 2004. Ryōnai did not release this information until four years later.

Higuchi Munetaka

Higuchi Munetaka (photo right), leader and drummer of the heavy metal band Loudness, died on November 30 of liver cancer at a hospital in Osaka. He was 49. The cancer was discovered in April and Higuchi underwent chemotherapy and surgery, having half his liver removed in June.

Kiyoshio Imawano

On May 2, 2009, Kiyoshiro died of cancer.[6] His funeral took place at Aoyama Sougisho on May 9, 2009. Approximately 42,000 fans visited to bid farewell tying the record of visits with Hibari Misora's funeral.[7] The funeral ceremony was titled The Aoyama Rock n' Roll Show and Kiyoshiro's band played in front of 1,000 people including Keisuke Kuwata, Shinobu Ōtake, Naoto Takenaka.[8]

Jasmine You (ex-Versailles)

On August 3, it was announced that Jasmine You would temporarily suspend all musical activities due to unknown circumstances regarding his health and to recover. It had been announced that Versailles' new album was in the final stages of production and the bass tracks were being recorded. In the early hours of August 9, 2009, it was reported on the official site that Jasmine You had died. The translated announcement reads as follows:

Piyo (ex-Gakido)

Died on February 12th, 2010.

The members of the Visual-Kei band Gakido were previously in a serious car accident on Friday and this resulted to the death of one member. Yoshiaki Yamada or Piyo died while the rest of the members had serious injuries.

Shunsuke (ex-BIS, ex-ElDorado)

Died on March 28th, 2010.

The band's vocalist, Maru, posted on their official blog, on November 18, 2007, that the band would be disbanding, and their last live show would be on January 13, 2008. On March 28, 2010, it was announced that Shunsuke had died.
This might have been suicide.

Daisuke (ex-Kagerou)

Died on July 15th, 2010

Daisuke (大佑) – Vocals – He has written all the lyrics for Kagerou. His previous bands conține Le'Cheri and Fatima, in which he was the drummer. Aside from drums, he also plays the piano. Daisuke is known for his audience interaction such as stage diving. He last played for the studs and in 2010, established a solo project called Daisuke to Kuro no Injatachi. On 15 July 2010, Daisuke passed away.
